Haiti Mission Trip January 14th to 21st, 2014
On January 14th, a handful of Multi Construction team members including: Alex Bultje, Jeff Bultje, and Nathan Wiersma, embarked on a mission trip to Port au Prince, Haiti’s capital. Upon their arrival, the group was to work in conjunction with Karen Bultje (Jeff’s cousin) and her established mission work at the School Compound; focusing on demolition of existing washrooms, and the rebuilding of larger washroom facilities.
The project would last the hardworking group the entirety of the week, with an impressive outcome after the tear down, foundation building for block walls, laying the block, and building and sheeting the roof.
For their hard earned efforts, Alex and Nathan were able to spend a day viewing the mountains, countryside and way of life around Port au Prince from the back of the local motorcycle taxis.
